Organ Donation Follow-up - If you are interested in knowing how the recipients of your loved one’s organ donation are doing you may call Tennessee Donor Services at 1-888-234-4440 and ask to speak to a Family Care Coordinator or email your request to jday@dcids.org. A Family Care staff member will contact the Transplant Centers at which the recipients received their transplants and provide follow-up information to you as soon as possible. The process involved in obtaining follow-up information is somewhat complex; therefore, it may be several weeks before the Family Care Coordinator has the information gathered and is able to get back to you.
Tissue Donation Follow-up - To obtain follow-up information about the recipients of your loved one’s tissue donation, you may contact Tennessee Donor Services at 1-888-234-4399. A Tennessee Donor Services staff member will access appropriate records and respond to your request as soon as possible. As with organ donor follow-up information, the process of researching the requested follow-up information may take several weeks to complete.
Living Donation Follow-up - In order to obtain follow-up information, living donors or the recipients of living donations need to contact the Transplant Coordinator at the center at which they either donated an organ or received their organ transplant.
