Organ and Tissue Donation Follow-up - If you are interested in knowing how the recipients of your loved one’s organ or tissue donation are doing you may call Robin Schenk, Aftercare Coordinator with Tennessee Donor Services at 1-888-234-4440 or email your request to rschenk@dcids.org. For follow up after tissue donation, a family care staff member will access appropriate records and respond to your request as soon as possible. For organ transplant recipient follow up, a Family Care staff member will contact the Transplant Centers at which the recipients received their transplants and provide follow-up information to you. The process involved in obtaining follow-up information is somewhat complex; therefore, it may be several weeks or more before the Family Care Coordinator has the information gathered and is able to get back to you.
Living Donation Follow-up - In order to obtain follow-up information, living donors or the recipients of living donations need to contact the Transplant Coordinator at the center at which they either donated an organ or received their organ transplant.
