How to Be a Donor

--Sign your driver's license/permit/ID card renewal form or application.  You must CHECK YES EVERY TIME YOU RENEW because your newest form overwrites older applications.
--Tell your family you would like to be an organ and tissue donor when you die.
--If you live in Virginia, register your decision to donate at www.save7lives.org. 
--Tenneseeans can register on-line at www.tndonorregistry.org or click the "Donate Life  Tennessee Organ & Tissue Donor Registry" logo at the top right corner of our home page.
--Or you can download and print the registry form at the bottom of this page and mail it in.

Indicating your wish to be a donor signifies your commitment to renewing the life and health of others in need. In the event of your death, your family will be informed of your decision to be an organ and tissue donor and involved in the donation process. Now is the time to sign up and talk to your family about donating life. You have the chance to make such a difference to the world.
